Hey guys, and welcome to my blog! I’m so excited to get to share this opportunity with y’all, and I’m ready to see the amazing things God will do. Before we get into it, here are some things you should know about me:
First, I am a writer. God has gifted me with the amazing ability to share my own experiences through words. I was an English major in college, and it only made me fall more in love with stories and my gift. Because of this though, I tend to write (and talk) a lot, so if it seems to get a bit extensive, hang in there because I promise there’s a point. With that being said, I do dabble in poetry and other literary forms. If you want to check that out, I’ll be posting them to a linked website, Caitlyn’s Corner (look along the side under Links). Sharing my poetry is new to me, so I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do!
Second, learning new languages and experiencing different cultures are a few of my passions. I don’t know when it happened, but I found myself drawn to different languages and lifestyles. As of right now, I am bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English. But, I do know some Korean and Thai (if you count knowing the alphabet). If you see words on my page that don’t look like English, they were probably put there on purpose…feel free to use Google Translate.
Third, behind God, my family and friends are my top priority. I am a big people-person; I like to spend time with others not only getting to know them but also just going through life together. I whole-heartedly believe that God created people to be in fellowship with one another, and I’m excited to do that with both my squad and also you, my readers. I pray that as I grow on this trip that God uses my testimony to help others develop in their faith. So, here’s to being friends!
Now, there’s so much more that I could tell you, but I’ll stop here for now. As you continue to read and follow this journey (which I hope you do), you’ll be able to watch first-hand as God changes my life and those around me.
Be safe and trust in God always, love y’all
